The department of Transport and Logistics Management (MLT) from the University Institute of Technology in Chalon sur Saone, France, welcomed last week Prof. Dirk Bruckmann from the department of Mobility and Logistics at Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp Lintfort, Germany. Both institutions have been working together on various projects for some time now.

Dirk gave about ten classes in English about Lean Management and also Air Transport. Some serious game sessions also varied the schedule of Dirk’s interventions.

This was a first for our students who are now asking for more since they have really enjoyed Dirk’s contribution to their curriculum.
The rest of the week was also very busy with various visits to a transport company with a very specific profile (a company which decided, by the way, to offer an internship to a student from Rhein-Waal), but also to the museum of photography since it was invented in Chalon. Dirk was also invited to an event organised by our students for their project on road safety information for younger students (high schools).

We have imagined other projects for next year and we are all agreed to renew this experience with the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences.
We would also like to offer the same to all those from EFLE who wish to come and meet our French students!
