Healthcare Logistics - an international University collaboration
As part of EFLE’s aim to expand and strengthen cooperation and collaboration between its members, Rhine-Waal UAS, (DE) is delighted to collaborate with HAN (NL), Rotterdam UAS (NL), LAB (FIN), and Yasar University (TUR) in the Project EDUNET – Healthcare Logistics.
The aim pf this project, which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is to provide a platform for the internationalization of degree programs. This will be done by implementing micro-degree modules at each participating university. Each of these modules should have 5 ECTS points. Each partner University should provide at least 3 of those modules on yearly basis. Students will be able to take elective courses from partner universities on a remote basis (hybrid courses).
The project partners have agreed to provide courses on fundamentals of healthcare logistics, capacity planning, patient flow logistics, disaster logistics, operations research, lean and processes in healthcare logistics, and many more. The development phase of the project will continue until 2024, after which the micro degrees will be embedded in each study program.
